Bilingual Version: The Story of Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who always wore a red cloak. Everyone called her "Little Red Riding Hood." Her name was simple, but her story was very special.

One day, Little Red Riding Hood's mother asked her to visit her sick grandmother in the forest. Her mother warned her, "Be careful on the way and don't talk to strangers." Little Red Riding Hood nodded and took a basket of delicious cakes and a bottle of honey wine, then set off.

As she walked through the forest, sunlight filtered through the leaves, and birds sang in the trees. She hummed a song as she walked, feeling very happy. But she didn’t know that a clever wolf was following her secretly.

The wolf heard Little Red Riding Hood’s singing and thought, “This little girl looks delicious. I need to find a way to catch her.” So it pretended to be friendly and said to her, “Hello, Little Red Riding Hood! Where are you going?”

She replied, “I’m going to my grandmother’s house. I brought some cakes and honey wine for her.”

The wolf smiled and said, “Oh, I’m also going to my grandmother’s house. Let’s walk together.”

Little Red Riding Hood hesitated a bit, but finally agreed.

They walked together, and the wolf asked her many questions, trying to find out where her grandmother lived. Finally, the wolf reached her grandmother’s house and pretended to be a visitor. When the grandmother opened the door, the wolf jumped into bed and pretended to be sick.

When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she saw her grandmother lying in bed, looking strange. She asked, “Grandma, why are your ears so big?”

The wolf answered, “Because I want to hear better, to see if you’ve really come.”

Little Red Riding Hood asked again, “Grandma, why are your hands so long?”

The wolf said, “Because I want to touch you.”

Little Red Riding Hood became more afraid, but she didn’t give up. She shouted, “Grandma, I’ll call the hunter!” At that moment, the hunter happened to pass by and heard the sound. He rushed in and caught the wolf.

Finally, the wolf was put into a cage in the forest and never came out again. Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother were safe again. They thanked the hunter and from then on, they were more careful.

From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned that when meeting strangers, one should be cautious and not easily believe others. She also realized that kindness and bravery were true strength.
