Hello everyone, today I want to share a short and meaningful story with you. It's called A Little Act of Kindness.
One day, in a small town, there was a boy named Tom. He was only 13 years old, just like many of you. Tom loved playing football, but he wasn't very good at it. He often felt sad when he couldn't score a goal or run fast enough.
One afternoon, after practice, Tom was walking home alone. It was raining heavily, and the streets were wet and slippery. As he walked, he saw an old man struggling to carry a heavy bag of groceries. The man looked tired and had trouble keeping his balance.
Tom didn’t think twice. He ran over to help the old man. Together, they carried the bag to his house. The old man smiled and thanked him. "Thank you, young man," he said. "You are a kind person."
Tom felt happy for the first time that day. He realized that even a small act of kindness could make a big difference. It didn’t matter if he was good at sports or not. What mattered was how he treated others.
From that day on, Tom started helping people more often. He helped his classmates with their homework, gave his seat to the elderly on the bus, and always tried to be friendly. People around him began to notice and appreciate him.
This story shows us that we don’t have to do big things to make a difference. Sometimes, just being kind and helpful is enough. It can change someone’s day, or even their life.
So, let’s all try to be like Tom. Let’s show kindness every day, no matter how small the act may seem. Because in the end, it’s our actions that define who we are.
Thank you for listening!
