初中英语作文:快乐的周末 Happy Weekend

The weekend is always an exciting time for me. It’s the perfect chance to relax and have fun after a busy week at school. Last Saturday, I had a really happy weekend.

In the morning, I woke up early and helped my mom prepare breakfast. We made pancakes together, which was so much fun. After breakfast, I did my homework quickly because I wanted to have more free time in the afternoon. Once it was done, I called my best friend, Lily, and we decided to go to the park.

The weather was perfect—sunny but not too hot. In the park, we played badminton, ran around, and laughed a lot. It felt great to be outside and enjoy the fresh air. Later, we bought some snacks from a nearby stall and sat under a big tree to eat them while chatting about our dreams for the future.

On Sunday, I spent some time reading my favorite book. It’s about a boy who goes on amazing adventures, and I love how it makes me feel like I’m part of the story. In the afternoon, my family went to visit my grandparents. We ate a delicious lunch and played board games together. It was nice to spend quality time with them.

At night, before going to bed, I wrote in my journal, reflecting on how much fun I had over the weekend. I realized that even though school can be tough sometimes, weekends like this make everything worthwhile.

This weekend was truly special, and I hope every weekend can be as enjoyable as this one!
